It
has been a matter of our policy to take up specific Green
Environment Initiative for the general afforestation of
the environment & as part of our continuous endeavour
towards a greener and cleaner world.
We have orgnised major sapping plantation programmes at
the community & city council levels throughout for the last
16 years resulting in the plantation of more than
25000 trees and plants of different varieties. Also continuous
round the year upkeep of these plants through regular watering
and caring has been taken up by us. This has resulted in lush
green trees in pre-identified areas like our BARODA and
Por Works , local city roads such as Tarsali Road, Makarpura
Road as well as co-operative societies live Green Park
society, Rambaug
society etc.
In recognition of our initiatives, Rambaug has been
bagging
BEST GREEN SOCIETY Award from the city council for the last
3 years consecutively.
We
have joined hands with Vadodara Municipal corporation (VMC)
to take up to new sapling plantations alongwith caged protection
along all major city roads. This has been very effective
in lowering vehicular pollution containing highly noxious
gases / suspended particulate matter (SPM) by acting as
a vehicular pollution neutralising zones.
At
GMW PVT.LTD. it has been our duty since inception to strive
for a Green & Clean world through the use of advanced
technologies created through emphasis on R & D. We have
adopted environment friendly packaging materials for our
products as our small contribution towards stopping ever
threatening environmental degradation.
